Kyle Vansice is a designer and researcher at SOM Chicago, focused on how technology and interdisciplinary practice can advance conceptually driven work. Kyle holds graduate degrees in both Architecture and Structural Engineering.
Mario Romero
Mario Romero is a computational designer at Perkins and Will. As a part of the Digital Practice team he focuses his efforts on creating and establishing new and experimental workflows that aid the firm’s design practice. Mario’s twelve-year long career has touched on multiple large-scale master planning and supertall projects around the world. He specializes in leveraging technology to meet complex project requirements in a technically proficient and aesthetically mindful manner.
Hiram Rodriguez
Hiram Rodriguez leads the design technology group at AS+GG where he oversees efforts in research and development, automation, and advanced algorithms. In his role at AS+GG he collaborates closely with all design, planning and building science groups. In his day to day work he brings a range of computational solutions leveraging workflows at various scales and formats. Previously he oversaw the Chicago CORE studio office where he worked on a variety of buildings types, and algorithms solutions for Thornton Tomasetti.
John Morrison is an architect who works at the computational intersection of science and art. He studied at the Harvard Graduate School of Design
and worked for Zaha Hadid Architects in London.
Now, John is a designer for Corgan, working in Chicago.
