chicago innovate 2022 - symposium

chicago innovate tech 2022 conference - day two review

The Chicago Innovate Tech 2022 symposium sought to bring together leaders of innovation, research, and start-ups with focus on promoting innovation in the architecture, engineering, construction and operation industry (AECO). The symposium was a multidisciplinary discussion between local design technologists, designers, engineers, developers and technology enthusiasts practicing in the AEC industry and organized around four main themes:

  • material innovation and the future of our industry with a sustainability approach

  • startup and technology incubators throughout our industry

  • innovation in practice discussing current trends and looking ahead at future technologies being investigated

  • crypto, metaverse, smart contracts, blockchain and the digital future of our industry

It was a blast seeing everyone at the Chicago Architecture Center - see links to the conference program, and the videos / playlist below:

//about the event

Chicago Innovate Tech 2022 seeks to create a pipeline of innovation, research, and start-ups with focus on solving and promoting innovation in the architecture, engineering, construction and operation industry (AECO). This event is a multidisciplinary collaboration of local design technologists , engineers, designers, and technology enthusiasts practicing in the AEC industry. We believe this event has the potential to foster innovation and create local incubators in the area. We see this symposium and masterclass as the first steps to a new discourse in technology and innovation in the Chicago area.
